Come and adventure our largest outdoor activity centre based on the Devon and Cornwall border. With over 730 acres of water, Roadford Lake provides access to a wide range of water and land based activities for all to enjoy. The Lake is a popular choice of location due to its size, accessibility and safety for all.
Our Outdoor and Active centre offers the perfect setting for scouts, events, D.o.E and holiday makers alike. You can participate and enjoy a wide range of activities from kayaking, windsurfing, sailing, alternatively if you have a head for heights and love a new challenge then why not try our 40ft high ropes course, you could even give archery a go!
Extend your stay in the South West, pack your holiday with fun and adventure when choosing to camp at Roadford Lake. The campsite is located adjacent to the lakeside and there is a licensed café on the opposite side of the lake. Lakeside café offers a range of light lunches, homemade cakes, hot and cold drinks as well as hosting events for weddings.
Explore Roadford Lake by foot or bike, the opposite side of the lake allows keen mtb cyclist and families to explore 1sw green (family friendly) and blue (moderate) off-road cycle paths. The walk paths provide great exploration for families and dog walkers to see the natural splendour of Roadford Lakes beautiful landscape.

Throughout our closed periods booked sessions are available by arrangement 7 days a week.
Road access closed to Outdoor & Active centre including campsite and fishing until 15:00 because of cyclists taking part in an event.
This does mean that there are No junior clubs morning or afternoon. No access on or off site between 08:00 and 15:00
We always recommend calling in advance to check the weather conditions and equipment / session availability, although hire and launch is normally available every day in which we are open.
Saturday Clubs for 6-16yr olds:
Beginner Sailing (RYA Stages 1-2, 8-16yr olds): 10am – 12pm, all year round
Advanced Sailing (RYA Stage 3 and upwards, 8-16yr olds): 1pm – 3 pm, all year round
Oppi Club (beginner sailing for 6-8yr olds): 10am – 12pm, between 13 June and 26 September
Windsurfing Club (all abilities, 8-16 yr olds): 1pm-3pm, between 13 June and August
Wednesday Over 50’s sessions 10am – 12pm, all year round
Sunday Mornings Sailing Sessions: 10am – 12pm, all year round
