Roadford Lake

Explore Roadford

Come and adventure our largest lake, based on the Devon and Cornwall border. Roadford Lake provides a great day out for families, on and off the water. Let the children run loose, there’s plenty of large and open spaces for running, rolling down hills, exploring through woodlands and forests, building dens, finding bugs or trying out an activity on the water.

Eat in or out, Lakeside Café serves local, homemade and fresh food. Enjoy a large cup of hot chocolate with all of the extras on top or try some fantastic locally sourced ice-cream. Pop into the visitor centre and uncover the fascinating history of Roadford Lake, visitors love our interactive learning displays. Roadford Lake offers an excellent day out in Devon, there’s plenty of free things to do and see. Create funny photos with your family or friends at the sundial, explore our cob shelter, discover the bird hides, let the children run wild in the play area, whizz through our off-road cycle trail, find the pond or sit down and enjoy the views.
